Just after we were married, Gerd-Hanne and I visited Rosarito Beach just south of Tijuana, Mexico. While there we became acquainted with a friendly shop owner. Caesar was not one of those pushy types. Rather he had a quiet, self-assured demeanor. When Gerd-Hanne and I weren’t on the beach we found ourselves gravitating to his shop. He offered us coffee and tea, and nice conversation. In one of our chats, Caesar made a comment that has stuck with me. I don’t remember the context of the conversation, but this simple phrase really resonated with me; both then and now.
Life is Simple, but not always Easy.
Often, we know what the right thing to do is, but find the strength of will or character difficult to muster up in order to do it.
And in keeping with today’s theme, I’ll end here :-).
